Fabian Henneke

I am a second-year PhD student in the Topology Group at the University of Bonn. My advisor is Wolfgang Lück.

The main focus of my research is on L2-invariants and related fields, such as group theory and non-commutative ring theory. More specifically, I am particularly interested in any of the following:

  • Atiyah's conjecture on the rationality of L2-Betti numbers
  • Universal localizations and skew fields
  • Bieri-Neumann-Strebel (BNS) invariants
  • Universal L2-torsion and the L2-torsion polytope
