Fabian Henneke

I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Topology Group at the University of Bonn, based at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics. My advisor is Wolfgang Lück.

The main focus of my research is on L²-invariants and related fields, such as group theory and non-commutative ring theory. More specifically, I am particularly interested in any of the following:

• Atiyah's conjecture on the rationality of L²-Betti numbers
• Universal localizations and skew fields
• Bieri-Neumann-Strebel (BNS) invariants
• Universal L²-torsion and the L²-torsion polytope
