Moritz Rahn (former surname: Groth)

During the academic years 2017-2019 I serve as a deputy professor at the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Mainz.

As of October 2015, I am the assistant of Stefan Schwede in the topology group at Bonn University. My research interest is focused on applications of Abstract Homotopy Theory to other fields in Geometry and Algebra like Algebraic Topology, (Derived) Algebraic Geometry, and (Abstract) Representation Theory. Besides being interested in the theory and applications of derivators, a notion introduced independently by Heller and Grothendieck, the broad fields of Higher Category Theory and Higher Operad Theory also attract my attention.
